Yet what?
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT) Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. Some days when we look at where we are we can wonder what on earth is going on. Some days we can get so focussed on yourself and your situation that we selfishly forget the goodness of God. I like this passage from Habakkuk. It takes an honest look at the circumstances: nothing is going right, there's not going to be a harvest, there's no cattle it's all wrong. The future looks rough!
